Sandburg Tapper Field

The fields are on the east side of Sandburg Learning Center.
Park on the street or in the West (and main) parking lot of Sandburg Learning Center. The school district has requested no parking in the lot closest to the fields.
SUTTON Field is the closest field to Sandburg Lane. this is a full size lighted field with 2 batting cages.
TAPPER Field is North of Sutton, away from Sandburg Lane. Tapper is a full size field and past the concessions/equipment building.
Maintenance Notes
Bases and equipment are stored in the building near Tapper. The key is in the lockbox near the building.
Field preparation (base installation, grooming and chalking) is the responsibility of the coaches.
Clean-up includes storing the bases, covering the mound, and grooming the field.
General Field Maintenance
Coaches, Team Managers, Players and Parents:
ACYBA shares all fields with other leagues. How a field looks after your team uses it reflects directly on our league and can make a difference to our access to that field in the future.
Remove everything from the dugouts, bleachers, cages and other areas of the field after each practice or game. Dispose of trash in the provided containers or take it with you.
Unless another team is waiting to take the field after your practice or game, cover the pitching mound, place all other covers and store bases, as needed, for the particular field. Uncovered mounds are easily damaged by rain and sprinkler systems and may result in game cancellations for us and other organizations.
